Paroli background images

Paroli with soap bubble backgroundParoli is the C00L telephone app for Freerunner phones. OM2009, the distribution that will use Paroli has just released testing5 images. Go and try it, it really is worth it if you’ve never tried it before or have been using testing4 images released weeks ago.

Anyway, as Paroli is plain black&white (with some small exceptions) and I don’t like it too much so I found an easy way to install nice colourful background images that will just destroy the plain black&white minimalism.

Could anyone help me to set this to illume background image too? Maybe even startup image?

    I like very much what you have done. Now Paroli home screen looks damn side better, Thank You. :)

    Is there any way to put in the other Paroli screens (settings, people … etc.)?

    I would like to see the background used in Settings, people etc but I think it’s not supported yet, someone needs to fix the theme. I heard that it was a medium size fight to get it working in the home view because Paroli has been designed to be black & white so adding a background is kind of taking the default Paroli beyond the limits (= it needed some hacking before it worked.). So if you know edje, feel free to jump in at #paroli IRC channel and make it work.

    Do you know how to add a background image in Illume or Serenity themes or start image of Illume?
