hello,
i installed the openmoko on qemu ,i followed the all instruction mentioned in the website "http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Automatic_emulation_in_Ubuntu" .
my installation went well and but its emulation is too slow, mean when i open any application it takes more than 1 min to open and second one there is no quit option on application screen also. third one is scrolling also not there so cant go down to application menu also.

i do have 512 ram 1.8 Ghz processor

i build an application also but stuck to above problem because for installation i do require a terminal on the screen, which is not possible due to scrolling part .

please suggest me, any idea???

thank in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

regards,
prashant p sathe

I can host the list at lists.gnumonks.org, just let me know once you have decided to start your new list. It's a regular mailman installation used for a number of other (both private and public) lists, so you it's a maintained installation.

@Bram: I've asked at osgeo discuss mailing list if osgeo would be able to host a list, see http://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/discuss/2008-September/004317.html

They also have wiki available and I think the list would fit their mission: "a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to support and promote the collaborative development of open geospatial technologies and data." See osgeo.org

@jcarrasco: The list is no comprehensive. I'm sure there are tens of projects I've not listed here but I'm sure you get the point..

Simply start a google group and get people on there. Should be a good enough solution as it also allows you to share pages, notes and documents within the google group interface. People can use it as a forum or mailinglist and with the wiki like documents you can also have some knowledge sharing aside.

Good luck!
